My approach to therapy is collaborative and supportive, based on the idea that providing a safe, nurturing environment within the context of a meaningful therapeutic relationship is key to promoting positive change and healing. My experience working with adults, adolescents, and children in outpatient and inpatient settings, plus my time as a public school teacher, informs my work, and has allowed me to develop a richer understanding of the various needs of individuals and families.

Whether you are an adult, adolescent, or child struggling with stress, life changes, relationship issues, parenting concerns, or emotional difficulties, consider if psychotherapy may help you to better understand and resolve these challenges. I am here to accompany you on this journey.

I earned my Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill and have completed training through the UNC Department of Psychiatry Child and Adolescent Outpatient Program. I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers and an associate member of the American Psychological Association.
